Jo Situ Allen, aka DIRTY ERASER, is a creative force who blurs the lines between ink, watercolor, and culinary artistry to feed the soul and fire up the senses. Growing up in Chinatown, LA, during the vibrant '90s, she’s always lived through her heightened perception of the world—crafting magic in vivid colors, bold flavors, and tactile textures.

Equipped with a UCLA degree and a Master’s in sustainable and regenerative systems, Jo’s leap from scientist to fine artist began with her illustrated coloring book series, The Accidental Naturalist - a celebration of California’s native species inspired by her daughters.

A highly regarded creative collaborator for brands of all sizes, Jo was recently recognized as Laguna Art Museum’s Artist of the Year. She was also the co-founder and executive chef at Mo Mi Mei, a modern street food café in Costa Mesa, California.

These days, she’s fusing her love of art and cuisine at her Laguna Beach studio, hosting an immersive dinner series called EAT LIKE AN ARTIST, where every bite is an experience.
